Together we can make a difference

The purpose of the Wierdabrug Community Police Forum (CPF) Sector 1 is to establish and maintain a safe and secure environment for members of the community, and to ensure a partnership between the community and the South African Police Service within the area of operation of the Wierdabrug Police Station

Emergency Call Center

Sector 1 has a 24 hour manned Call Centre that is in constant communication with Emergency Services, Private Security Companies, CPF Patrollers, Neightboorhood Cells and the SAPS.

Neigbourhood Watch

A huge network of Neighbourhood watch cells, Local Business- and School Groups, that regularly share information and crime intelligence.

CPF Patrollers

The CPF supports visibility as one of the key crime prevention methods. CPF Patrollers perform a multitude of support rolls within the sector and work closely with the SAPS.

Trauma and Counselling

Our Sector have a dedicated volunteer counselling group. We will also assist with referrals to the correct organisations to assist, should the need lie outside the scope of short-term trauma counselling offered by this group.
